Sorry for no update…
I was so busy the past few weeks. Family came 2 weeks ago, then busy preparing my case presentation, busy finishing reports. And there are still lots of stuffs waiting to be done. Aaahhhhh. I need a break! Which will be in June where I will travel to Kota Kinabalu and Miri, and in July which I’ll be spending 2 weeks back in July! Waaa Hooooo! I need to finish most of the unfinished stuffs before these 2 breaks so I won’t have nightmare thinking about them.
Last Wednesday, while I was sitting infront of the ‘kaunter ubat’ thinking what I should eat for lunch, a middle age woman approached me:
Woman: Boleh tanya?
Jimmie: Bolehhhhh…
Woman: Bapa saya ada stroke, boleh saya tanya dia boleh makan ubat ubat ini ka? (showing me a prescription with Calcium and Calcitriol)
Jimmie: Rasanya tiada masalah. Bila bapa kamu kena stroke?
Woman: Hari Ahad.
Jimmie: *feeling something is not right* Mana bapa kamu sekarang? Dalam ward sudah?
Woman: Dekat rumah. Dia kat rumah, badan sudah separuh mati.
Jimmie: *bangs head on the table* Kenapa tak pergi Emergency?!
SEKARANG TAU, jangan tunggu lagi!
Woman: Oohh baik, terima kasih banyak banyak yahhh
Jimmie: Sama sama *-_-*
See how uneducated some people are in small areas in Malaysia like Tawau. They don’t even know what kind of situations are considered emergency. I don’t have the heart to leave them in this state. Need to educate them more. So, I’ll be staying back in Sabah for another 3 years for that purpose (and also for the housing allowance $$$). Yes, I’m a noble guy, sacrifying my needs to entertaiment in the city by staying in a small town. Also, the people in Tawau are generally more polite than people in Peninsular. That’s a fact.

A picture of me wearing a tie after few months of not wearing. For a special occasion (not my marriage!): hospital group picture taking yesterday
